Founder

Hello! My name is Keti, and I’m the founder of Keeping Up with BGA! I’m passionate about bringing our school community together through stories, creativity, and journalism. Coming up with the name of our newspaper was just the beginning of an exciting journey that allows me to turn my ideas into something meaningful for our school.

As part of the team, I write articles, take photographs, and interview students and our guests to capture the moments, voices, and stories that make BGA unique. I love discovering what makes people interesting, sharing different perspectives, and making sure our school’s events and achievements get the recognition they deserve.

For me, Keeping Up with BGA is more than just a newspaper. It’s a way to connect people, celebrate our community, and give everyone something to look forward to. I’m excited to keep creating, exploring new ideas, and bringing our school’s stories to life, one article at a time!

I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my amazing teammates, Luka and Tekla, who have helped me turn my dreams into reality. A special thank-you goes to our school administration for supporting this project, especially Miss Sophie, for her guidance and encouragement.

Hi! I’m Tekla Nikolaishvili, one of the creators of Keeping Up with BGA. My goal is to keep students informed, highlight important school events, and give everyone a chance to have their voices heard. I help gather information, conduct interviews, write stories, and create content that brings our school community closer together.

Students of the British-Georgian Academy write, photograph and edit every story. The paper was started by the three people above; everyone who has written for it is in the newsroom.
