Last changed 7 October 2026

Keeping Up With BGA is the student newspaper of the British-Georgian Academy, Tbilisi. It is written, photographed and edited by students. Reading it is free and needs no account. By using the site you agree to what is on this page.

Who writes it

Only approved editors can publish. Every story, notice, event and album is filed by a named member of the newsroom and can be corrected or removed by the chief editor. Readers cannot post anything that appears on the site: the reactions under a story are a fixed set of kind ones, and there are no comments.

Stories are the work of students and say what their writers found and think. They are not statements by the school.

Getting it right

All three start on the report page, which goes straight to the chief editor. The editors aim to answer within two school days.

Whose work it is

The words and photographs belong to the students who made them and to the paper. You may link to anything here, quote a short passage with the paper’s name, and share the pictures the site makes for sharing. Please ask before reprinting a whole story or using a photograph somewhere else, photographs of students especially.

The name and crest of the British-Georgian Academy belong to the school. If something of yours is on the site without your permission, say so on the report page and it will be taken down or credited, whichever you ask for.

What is asked of you

Links and embeds

The paper links to other sites and shows posts from Instagram and films from YouTube. Those belong to their owners and follow their own rules. What this site does with your visit is in the privacy policy.

No guarantees

This is a school newspaper made by students in their own time. They take care to be accurate, but dates and places can change after a story is filed: check with the school before relying on one. The site may be unavailable at times, and it is offered as it is.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. They are read under the laws of Georgia.
