Everest wins the school election

Everest has won the election for the Academy’s student government. The result was announced on Thursday 29 October, the day after students cast their votes with their school IDs.

What Everest promised

Everest stood under the line “Higher goals. Stronger future.” When the newsroom put the same questions to both parties, Everest promised better competitions, events and academic events, a president every student can approach easily, and inter-grade tournaments in football, basketball, volleyball, tennis and chess.

Well played, One For All

One For All stood under the line “One team. One voice.”, with a campaign about bringing the whole school together as one team and making sure every student’s voice is heard. Thank you to both parties, and to everyone who came to vote.

What comes next

BGA News will follow the new student government through the year and hold it to its promises. Both parties’ interview with the newsroom is still on the front page.
